The Carolina Hurricanes recently gave fans an early teaser into their upcoming season, releasing their 2025 preseason schedule.

Canes fans should get even more excited now, with the entire regular-season schedule released on Wednesday afternoon.

Carolina, hoping to make its eighth-consecutive Stanley Cup Playoffs appearance, will open its regular-season slate on Thursday, October 9 at 7 p.m. against the New Jersey Devils. The Canes clinched their streak-stopping, 2019 playoff drought against New Jersey – and since beat the Devils twice in the playoffs.

Carolina will stay at home during Opening Weekend, welcoming the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 11. The Canes then embark on their annual NC State Fair road trip, playing six consecutive games away from the Lenovo Center, before returning Oct. 28 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Carolina will play eight times at home – and seven on the road – in November, starting at the Boston Bruins and ending vs. the Calgary Flames. The Canes’ first four December games will all be in Raleigh, continuing their season-long 7-game home stand, followed by consecutive matchups at the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers.

Carolina plays at home for much of the Holiday season, hosting the Florida Panthers two days before Christmas and the Detroit Red Wings two days after. Five of the Canes’ first six games in 2026 are within the Lenovo Center walls, then they’ll play a back-to-back on January 12 and 23 (at Detroit, St. Louis). Carolina will end January with four of seven games at home, closing out the month in our Nation’s Capital.

New to the Canes’ schedule this year is a nearly 3-week break for the Winter Olympics, which spans from February 6-22. Carolina returns from the break to host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 26, followed by a rematch with Detroit two days later.

The Canes begin March with four straight road games, then return home March 10 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Carolina hosts the Pens eight days later, then heads northeast to Pittsburgh and two games in Canada.

The Canes’ last March home game comes March 29 against the Montreal Canadiens, then they begin April with consecutive home matchups against the Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Islanders. Carolina will play at the Ottawa Senators on April 5, return to Raleigh for their home finale on April 7 against Boston, then finish its season with four-consecutive road games.
