WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (March 14, 2016) – Dash fans can watch the team’s first workout in Winston-Salem while enjoying $1 hot dogs, $1 beers and much more! BB&T Ballpark will host an Open House that is free to the public on Tuesday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m.
Fans can enjoy the action from the seats or the warning track immediately behind home plate. In addition to hot dogs and beer, fans can purchase soda, hot chocolate and coffee for just $1 during the event, and there will be a brief period for autographs after the workout. Some inflatables will be available for children on the concourse, too.
Not only is the event free to the public, but no RSVP is required. Free parking is available behind the Dash’s Box Office off Green Street.
“Our new-look Open House will provide fans with a unique opportunity to watch the Dash prepare for the upcoming season,” Dash President Geoff Lassiter said. “There will be fun for all ages, and we hope to turn this into one of our many great traditions at BB&T Ballpark.”
After a thrilling 2015 season that resulted in a postseason berth, the Dash will have a former Major League manager leading the way in 2016. The White Sox named Joel Skinner, who spent the last four years with Triple-A Charlotte, as the Dash’s skipper for the upcoming season.
The season will begin on Thursday, April 7, in Lynchburg, while the Dash’s home opener is set for Thursday, April 14, against the Salem Red Sox. Single-game tickets and season-ticket packages are on sale now. For more information, call the Dash at (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com.
