SCM Radio (SportsCarolina Monthly Radio) will launch its new format for programming Monday March 21, 2016. Previously sports talk only, the format will change to also include daily music from Alternative Rock, Classic R&B, Soul, Classic Rock and more. The Radio station will also broadcast live sporting events, and updated news and notes from the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Hurricanes, ACC Sports and more.

The Music Rotation will run daily until 5pm.

Starting Monday, March 21st, Triad Favorites Brad Krantz and Britt Whitmire expand their listeners options in the Triad and beyond by joining the SCM Radio lineup. Brad and Britt will air Monday through Thursdays with new episodes at 5pm. “Uncle Mike’s Rock Quarry” Hosted by Mike Beane will take listeners on a trip through classic rock and will air on Saturday’s throughout the day.

From 6pm-11pm SCM Radio’s Sports programming begins. Headlined by “Thr3 & Out” Hosted by Trey Snide, “The Uptown Sports Show” hosted by Brendan Taylor, “Katie Vick is Alive! Alive! (WWE) Hosted by Britt Whitmire and Bryant Williams and “What Drives Us” (Bowman Gray Racing) Hosted by Cone and Smoke.

To access SCM Radio on your Android device or iPhone, access Google Play or the Apple App Store and search for “Krykey”. The Radio app will appear. Install the app to your phone or tablet (Droid) or iPhone and open. Skip the first screen (button at bottom) and tune your radio dial to frequency 1062.0. To preset, hold down one of the numbered buttons under the dial when you reach your station.
