North Carolina defeats Mercer 56-7

Mercer vs. North Carolina:  The Tar Heels celebrated Senior Day in style with a 56-7 win over Mercer.  Carolina got off to an explosive start and led 42-0 at halftime.  Sam Howell threw for three touchdowns while completing 10 of 13 passes for 152 yards.  Running back Michael Carter only had nine carries but he ran for 159 yards and three touchdowns in the game.  The Tar Heels need to defeat NC State next week to become bowl eligible.
