Hornets lose big to Blazers 129-96

The Trail Blazers defeated the Hornets, 127-96 tonight in Portland. CJ McCollum led the Trail Blazers with 30 points (12-20 FG), while Damian Lillard tallied 20 points, 5 assists, 3 steals and a career-high 4 blocks. Also for the Trail Blazers, Jusuf Nurkic recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 blocks (ties career-high). Kemba Walker led the Hornets with 18 points (5-19 FG) and 3 assists in the losing effort. The Trail Blazers recorded 16 blocks as a team, which is tied for 2nd most in a single-game in franchise history (16 – 2/11/79, 17 – 1/19/79). With the win the Trail Blazers improve to 26-17, while the Hornets fall to 19-22 on the season.
