AMAA Sports hosted the AMAA GAMES karate tournament this past Saturday March 19th, 2016. Many martial arts competitors from around the Triads competed for medals, certificates and bragging rights for their karate schools.

Karate students of all ages and all skill levels competed. They had a little dragons divisions for 3 to 5 year olds that was classic and fun to watch. Excellent blackbelt sparring, weapons, and katas were demonstrated. Several Karate International schools (www.kitriad.com) along with the Greensboro Black Belt Academy (www.gsoblackbelt.com/) and the Greensboro Martial Arts Academy (www.greensboromartialartsacademy.com) came together for family friendly and fun competition.
