Coach’s Comments
“I don’t think we ever let our offense dictate our defense and that was the key to the game. We needed Alondes and Jake to play really well on the road, and they were outstanding today. They were the two best players on the court, and we went to them over and over again late in the game. We did a really good job executing on offense down the stretch.

It was an ugly game, but we were resilient and we largely fixed the rebounding and turnover issues from the first half in the second half, which gave us the chance to win. We came in here a year ago and we lost a game that we should have won. Today, we found a way to win, and now we have 19 wins. It was not a pretty game by any means, but when you get to February you just have to find a way to win.”- head coach Steve Forbes
