Wake Forest defeats Miami 76-75 on Childress Buzzer Beater

Miami vs. Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons trailed the entire second half until junior Brandon Childress hit a 3-pointer to give Wake Forest a 76-75 lead with 25.2 seconds left. Wake would hold onto that lead to get the win. Wake Forest would outscore Miami 34-19 in the final 10:38 of the game, in which time the Hurricanes made zero shots from the field. Childress and Chaundee Brown both scored 21 points to lead the Demon Deacons. Freshman Jaylen Hoard recorded another double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. For Miami, Chris Lykes scored 26 points and hit a career-high six 3-pointers.
