Coach’s Comments
“This was our best all-around game of the year, especially for being on the road. We played really well from the get-go. We had a lot of energy. We were really good on offense and shared the ball. Defensively, we also were really good. We got off to a great start, but we didn’t really finish the first half the way that we wanted to, credit to them. We turned it over and they got a three, as we were up double digits. I talked to them about the LSU game at halftime, right before we went out – this was the same type of scenario. We really came out focused in the second half. The 1-3-1 kind of flipped the game open in the second half. They struggled a little bit with it. We ended up getting stops and getting some buckets, and then we just had great guard play. Andrew was as good as he’s been all year. He had a great double-double. Ty  ran the team and Cam scored. It wasn’t a big night for Damari, but Bobi was awesome off the bench. The fives, Davion and Matt, played a good game. They guarded, made some baskets and rebounded it. It was just a really good all-around game in a place that it’s really hard to win. There’s been some teams that come in here and struggle, so I’m really proud of my team.” – head coach Steve Forbes
