Pitt defeats North Carolina in overtime 34-27

North Carolina vs. Pittsburgh: Pitt kept its hopes of another ACC Championship Game appearance alive with a 34-27 overtime victory over UNC. Pittsburgh was playing shorthanded with wide receiver Maurice French missing the game. Quarterback Kenny Pickett was 25 of 41 passing for 359 yards and a touchdown. Pickett also ran for 53 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime. Filling in for French, Shocky Jacques-Louis caught four passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. For North Carolina, quarterback Sam Howell three for 322 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Dazz Newsome had a career night with a career-high 11 catches and a career-high 170 yards, while also scoring a touchdown.
