A Florida appeals court has grantedNew Orleans Pelicans’ rookie Zion Williamson’s request to prevent his having to testify in court on whether or not he received improper benefits prior to, or while he played for Duke. Williamson had been sued by his former marketing company, Prime Sports, and its owner, Gina Ford, after Williamson allegedly breached his contract with Prime Sports prior to signing with Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
