Panthers edge Giants in overtime at Munich NFL game

The Carolina Panthers beat the New York Giants 20-17 in overtime on Sunday in a thrilling NFL game held in Munich, with an Eddy Pineiro field goal making the difference. It was the fourth NFL regular season game to be held in Germany after two took place in Frankfurt last year and one in Munich the season before. The referee even partly used German to announce a penalty to the crowd. Panthers quarterback Bryce Young told RTL: “I had a walk round Munich, it is a great city.
