Panthers CB Jaycee Horn Named To 2025 Pro Bowl

Panthers CB Jaycee Horn has been selected to the 2025 Pro Bowl. Its Horn’s first selection.

After an injury riddled start to his career, Horn played in 15 of the Panthers games this season. Horn almost didn’t miss a single snap in those 15 games, playing 1,036 of the Panthers 1,062 plays on defense in those matchups.

Along with his excellent pass coverage skills, Horn notched 2 sacks this season along with 68 tackles, a career high. Plus, Horn had a better catch percentage allowed than all but one cornerback with at least 70 targets this season.

Other Panthers have noticed the change in Horn this season, after his first 3 seasons ended early with a variety of injuries.

“I think the coolest thing about him was his work ethic and his mindset,” veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen said. “You could tell that he had that Pro Bowl mindset, work ethic, and the ability. So just staying healthy, and you knew that was going to happen. You go against him every day and practice, you see the ability and his consistency, right? Not just doing it one time or two games, but being able to do it over and over and over and have consistent production. He’s had that mindset since I’ve been around him; his work ethic is all that.”

Horn becomes the 4th Panthers CB to be named to the Pro Bowl, the other three were Stephon Gilmore (2021), Josh Norman (2015) and Eric Davis (1996).

Horn was the only Pro Bowler selected from the Panthers this season. Offensive Guard Robert Hunt was a second alternate, running back Chuba Hubbard was a fourth alternate, and punter Johnny Hekker was the fifth alternate. The Panthers wrap up the 2025 season at Atlanta, 1pm Sunday on Fox.
