North Carolina vs. Boston College: The No. 12 North Carolina Tar Heels survived to earn their second win of the season on Saturday with the 26-22 victory over Boston College. The Heels started out strong, opening up a 14-3 first-quarter lead, but the Eagles hung around and were able to make a game of it in the end. Phil Jurkovec found C.J. Lewis for a touchdown with 45 seconds remaining, and the Eagles went for a two-point try to tie the game, but Trey Morrison intercepted the pass and returned it, thwarting the comeback. Sam Howell finished the game with 225 yards on 14-of-26 passing with two touchdowns and an interception. Michael Carter ran well all day and finished the game with 121 rushing yards in the win. Javonte Williams added 57 yards and a touchdown on the day.
