North Carolina falls to Syracuse 81-53

North Carolina vs Syracuse: Syracuse snapped a 9-game losing streak to North Carolina by defeating them 81-53 in the second round of the ACC Tournament. The Orange will advance to face the Louisville Cardinals in the quarterfinals. Syracuse never trailed and went on a 15-0 run to end the first half to take full control of the game. Elijah Hughes scored 18 of his game-high 27 points in the first half. Buddy Boeheim added 17 points for Cuse. Garrison Brooks led North Carolina with 18 points.
