North Carolina vs. Florida State: The Seminoles were able to defend their homecourt and defeat the Tar Heels 65-59. North Carolina had an 11 minute stretch in the second half where they went without a made field goal. It was during that time that Florida State went from down 4 to up 10. FSU freshman Patrick Williams came off the bench to score 14 points and grab 9 rebounds. Trent Forrest also scored 14 points to go with 4 rebounds and 3 assists for the Noles. Cole Anthony was the leading scorer for UNC with 16 points.
