NC State Outlasts Wake Forest 45-42

Wake Forest vs. NC State: The NC State Wolfpack won a hard-fought game against Wake Forest, 45-42 on Saturday night The two teams traded blows all night as the Wolfpack racked up 270 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in the win. Bailey Hockman got the surprise start and looked very good, completing 16-of-23 for 191 yards passing and a touchdown. The quarterback added a rushing touchdown as well. The season-opening win for the Pack snapped a 6-game ACC losing streak.
