NC State falls to Boston College 71-68

NC State vs. Boston College: The Eagles defended their home court and got the 71-68 win over the Wolfpack. Twice in the final 69 seconds of the game, BC’s Steffon Mitchell stole the ball and passed it to Jarius Hamilton who both times got an open dunk, the last one occurring with eight seconds left in the game. Derryck Thornton scored a team-high 22 points and had 5 assists and 5 rebounds for the Eagles, and Jay Heath added another 16 points. For NC State, Devon Daniels scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
