Lightning Fall To Hurricanes 2-1 In Preseason Opener

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning kicked off their preseason with a 2-1 loss against the Carolina Hurricanes at AMALIE Arena. Despite controlling the shot count for most of the game, the Bolts couldn’t secure the win, conceding a late goal in the final minute of regulation. The Lightning’s lone goal came in the first period from Logan Brown, assisted by Declan Carlile and Lucas Edmonds. Brown’s goal marked his return to action after recovering from an injury.
