Learn Which Carolina Hurricanes Games Will Be On National Television This Season

[email protected]

The Carolina Hurricanes are just over a month from kicking off their 2024-2025 season – and we couldn’t be more excited.

You might recognize a few new names on the roster, as the Canes lost several offensive players and an entire defensive line in free agency. Fans didn’t take too kindly to this, wondering why Carolina’s roster seemingly got worse.

Regardless of who the Canes roll out in their lineup, you have to be happy that hockey is nearly back.

If you don’t have Bally Sports South, but want to watch Carolina take the ice this year, you’re in luck. On Thursday, Aug. 29, the Canes announced their national television schedule, which includes 10 games on a combination of TNT, ABC, truTV, MAX, ESPN+ and Hulu.

Carolina’s first nationally-televised game will be on ESPN+/Hulu Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. against the Tampa Bay Lightning for preseason action. The Canes then don’t play again on national TV until Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. against the Philadelphia Flyers (TNT, truTV, MAX).

After playing just one nationally-televised game in December, Tuesday the 17th at 7:30 p.m. against the New York Islanders (ESPN+, Hulu), Carolina has three games on national TV in January: Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. against the Toronto Maple Leafs (ESPN+, Hulu), Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. against the Buffalo Sabres (TNT, truTV, MAX) and Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. against the Dallas Stars (ESPN+, Hulu).

The Canes have just one nationally-televised game apiece in February and March: Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. against the Minnesota Wild (ESPN+, Hulu) and Tuesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. against the Nashville Predators (ESPN+, Hulu). Carolina will end April with two more nationally-televised games: Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. against the Washington Capitals, then Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. against the New York Rangers (ABC, ESPN+).
