Fox 8 Spotlight: East Forsyth’s The Nest Celebrates 6th Year on Tobacco Road Sports Radio

Fox 8 recently spotlighted East Forsyth’s weekly football coaches show, The Nest with East Forsyth HC Todd Willert, on its weekly High School Football Frenzy show.

Reporter Jenna Vitamanti got a chance to interview host Rod Funderburk, Coach Willert and Tobacco Road Sports Radio owner Desmond Johnson before their Week 9 game vs conference rival RJ Reynolds.

The Nest is the longest running High School Coaches show in the Triad, currently in its 6th season. Tobacco Road Sports Radio also produces coaches shows weekly for Glenn, Grimsley, SW Guilford and West Forsyth. Tobacco Road is the largest provider of live sports content in the Triad.

The network is currently the home for the largest coverage of Triad High School Live Sports, as well as the home of the North Carolina A&T Aggies Radio Network, the Charlotte Hornets Radio Network (WWBG 1470am in Guilford County) live weekly sports shows and sports podcasts based in Central North Carolina.
