Duke defeats Syracuse 97-88

Duke vs. Syracuse: The Duke Blue Devils went into Cameron Indoor and get he 97-88 victory over the Syracuse Orange. Duke outshot Syracuse to get the win, hitting on 57.4% of their field goal attempts compared to just 38.6% for Syracuse. Vernon Carey Jr. had a beast of a game as he tying his career-high with 26 points and setting a career-high with 17 rebounds. Fellow Duke freshman Cassius Stanley scored 15 points, dished 5 assists, and grabbed 4 rebounds. For Syracuse, Marek Dolezaj had 22 points and 6 rebounds to lead the Orange.
