Carolina Panthers releasing WR Terrace Marshall

The Carolina Panthers are releasing receiver Terrace Marshall, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported Tuesday. Marshall, Carolina’s second round (59th overall) selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, came into the league with tons of promise, but failed to meet expectations in three seasons with the Panthers. He appeared in 36 games (16 starts), hauling in 64 receptions for 767 yards and one touchdown. Marshall was inactive for seven of the final eight games this past season.
