Bryce Young to start for Panthers vs. Broncos following Andy Dalton car accident

After Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Andy Dalton was involved in a car accident on Tuesday, head coach Dave Canales revealed Wednesday that he has suffered from a sprained thumb and will not be able to play this weekend. Meaning that Bryce Young will return to his role as Carolina’s starter for the team’s Week 8 matchup on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. “Andy Dalton was in a car accident with his family, with JJ and the kids,” Canales said on Wednesday. “Scary moment for sure, everyone was okay, everyone was healthy.
