Breaking News: North Carolina A&T Fires Football Head Coach Vincent Brown

North Carolina A&T State University announced Wednesday that Football head coach Vincent Brown has been “relieved of his head coaching duties” after two seasons. In two seasons as head coach, Brown posted a 2-21 record, going 1-10 in 2023 and 1-11 in 2024. Previously, Brown served as the defensive coordinator for William & Mary.

Brown played in the NFL, playing 8 seasons with the New England Patriots from 1988-1995 after playing college football from 1984-1987.

In an official release from A&T, it says “In his final season at A&T, the Aggies posted a 1-11 record overall and a 0-8 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association,”

“We want to thank coach Brown for his contributions to the North Carolina A&T football program and for helping us transition into the CAA Football Conference,” said Aggies Athletic Director Earl Hilton. “We wish him and his family the best as they move forward and in all future endeavors.”
