Brad Daugherty’s Black friends used to feel unwelcome at NASCAR races. Now they want tickets.

Brad Daugherty said in June that the root of NASCAR’s diversity issue isn’t black or white.“It’s green,” Daugherty said about the financial barriers to the sport.Daugherty, who’s Black, is a team owner of NASCAR’s JTG Daugherty Racing, a former NBA player and a longtime sports analyst.
