Another week is in the books at the Madhouse sponsored by Krazy Kevin Powell Motorsports 100. This week, there were several first time winners along with repeat winners.
First up for the night was Street Stock. Christian Joyce would start on the pole, trouble would start as Chase Lewis would spin early on in the race. Then on lap 15, Billy Gregg would spin out. Joyce would lead flag to flag to pick up the win. Second Nate Gregg, Third Bryan Sykes, Fourth Bryan Sykes Jr., Fifth Austin Jones
Next up would be the first of two Sportsman races, as Chase Robertson would start on the pole along side of rookie Riley Neal, Robertson would go on to lead flag to flag, unfortunate trouble for Riley Neal as he would get collected in Zack Ore and Amber Lynn run-in. Neal would fall to the back after having a flat tire. Chase Robertson carried on the family tradition becoming a winner at Bowman Gray following in his father (Mike), brother (Ryan) and grandfather (Gerald) footsteps. Tommy Neal second, Justin Taylor third, Spencer Martin fourth and fifth Michael Adams.
Now time for the Krazy Kevin Powell Motorsports 100 for Modified. Luke Fleming would start on the pole with Jonathan “Jon Boy” Brown second. Brown would grab the lead from Fleming on lap one and go on to lead flag to flag and pick up his 22nd win. Burt Myers, John Holleman, Junior Snow and Jeremy Gerstner would get involved in a piled up in turn two. Tim Brown would finish second, Chris Fleming third, Jason Myers fourth, and Danny Bohn fifth.
Time for Sportsman’s second race as Wesley Thompson would be up front and go on to pick up his first career win in the Sportsman Division with Sterling Plemmons second, Michael Adams third and race one winner Chase Robertson fourth, fifth Zack Ore.
Aj Sanders and Blaine Curry picked up the wins in the Stadium Stock races.
Sanders held off, Chuck Wall, Third Brandon Brendle, Fourth, Andrew Cates Fifth, Luke Smith. Curry would hold off Brandon Crotts second, Justin Owens third, Levi Holt fourth and fifth Stephen Sanders.
