WSJS Sports Announces New Local Afternoon Show

WSJS SPORTS ANNOUNCES NEW LOCAL AFTERNOON SHOW

(JULY 11, 2018) WSJS Sports welcomes “The Drive with Josh Graham” to afternoons beginning July 23. The show will be heard across N.C.’s Triad on heritage signals that include 600 am, 920 am, six other Curtis Media AM and FM frequencies, the WSJS Sports app and on- line at WSJSSports.com. WSJS SPORTS is the full-market sports hub for ACC and North Carolina in the Greensboro / High-Point / Winston-Salem / Burlington market.

“Local sports fans are in for a treat. After a nationwide search that generated hundreds of applicants, Josh stood above the rest”, said Al Bunch, Curtis Media Group’s Triad General Manager. “Josh is passionate about A.C.C. and North Carolina sports, has strong opinions and boundless energy. You may not always agree with him, but you will always be entertained and informed with Josh’s inside information and deep knowledge of sports.”

Graham commented “I am thrilled to join WSJS Sports and am ready to immerse myself in to the Triad, the home of the ACC”. Graham comes to WSJS Sports from “94.3 the Game” (Inner Banks Media / Greenville, NC) where for the past two years he has hosted the local afternoon sports talk show and served as Sports Director.

WSJS Sports Desmond Johnson will produce the 3-6pm show. Johnson hosts the popular Saturday show “The Rundown with Desmond Johnson” on WSJS Sports. Johnson also owns SportsCarolina Monthly. 

“Outkick the Coverage with Clay Travis” (FOX Sports Radio, 6am-9am) starts the day followed by national sports radio superstar “The Dan Patrick Show” (FOX Sports Radio, 9am-12pm), the award winning “The David Glenn Show” (Statewide in N.C., 12pm-3pm), and “The Josh Graham Show” (Local / Triad, 3pm-6pm). Additional programming on WSJS Sports includes The Rundown (Sat Mornings at 10am) High School Football Game of the Week for Forsyth/Guilford and Alamance counties, NASCAR, Appalachian State University Football and N.C. A&T State University Football & Basketball.
