Brandon Blakney was live from the Joel Sunday as Wake Forest hosted defending national champions The University of Virginia, both these teams came in banged missing starters.

40 minutes wasn’t enough as it took overtime to decide this one! Isaiah Mucius and Andrien White really stepped up and made shots in this game, I left away extremely impressed with their performances on both ends.

North Carolina Native Jay Huff put the dagger in WF late with a three ball to seal the deal, it seems it always comes back to the Hoop State! Dannt Manning and Tony Bennett both took lessons away from this contest, positives and negatives to work on. Wake will play Notre Dame next while UVA will host the #5 team in the nation Florida State!
