Five-star prospect schedules final official visit
Roy Williams began recruiting Wendell Moore a very long time ago, making the 6-foot-5, 210-pound prospect a high priority in the class of 2019.
A player of Moore’s caliber would be a huge boost for Williams’ 2019 class, which is why the Hall-of-Fame head coach has spent more than two years making visits and getting to know the talented wing.
It looks like some of that time and effort has paid off, because Moore scheduled an official visit to the University of North Carolina for the weekend of October 13th. He’ll be in attendance for the Tar Heels’ annual Late Night with Roy event to be held at the Dean Smith Center.
“I’ve scheduled the last one to Carolina, that’s for their Late Night with Roy, Oct. 12-14,” Moore told Inside Carolina.
Moore previously scheduled trips to North Carolina State, South Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest, all of which are set to take place in the month of September. Moore’s trip to Chapel Hill will happen two weeks later, and will be his final official visit
