Thaddeus Moss, son of former NFL WR Randy Moss is a 2016 HS football recruit who decided to commit to N.C State on Saturday. Thaddeus, a 6-4 Tight End Chose the Wolfpack over a number of Big offers. Texas A&M, UCLA, Arizona State, Nebraska and even Georgia all offered.

It came down to Texas A&M and N.C State. Thaddeus wanted to not live in his father’s shadow and make a name on his own. He took on most of the recruiting process himself, but in the end Thaddeus leaned on his father for guidance and wisdom.

“For the most part he really let me go about the process on my own”, Thaddeus Moss said ” I asked for his opinion and for him to sit down with coaches and talk, but I asked for that these last few weeks. He voiced his opinion and we had in-depth conversations about what was best for me and also for the family”

Between family and loyalty to N.C State, since they were the first to offer., Thaddeus chose the Wolf pack. “It just felt right”, he told ESPN. “It’s close to home, it felt right, and they kept it real with me from day one. N.C State was the first team to offer and loyalty was rewarded.” The 4 star tight end, a product of Mallard Creek High in Charlotte, is the highest rated commitment of the Wolfpack’s 2016 recruiting class to this point.
