Louisville defeats NC State 34-20

Louisville vs. NC State: The Cardinals became bowl eligible after defeating the Wolfpack 34-20. After trailing 10-7 at halftime, Louisville outscored NC State 20-0 in the third quarter to take control of the game. Quarterback Micale Cunningham played very well, completing 13 of 20 passed for 242 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Tutu Atwell was over 100 yards once again, catching five balls for 110 yards and a touchdown. The play of the game was when Louisville’s kicker Ryan Chalifoux ran the fake field goal to perfection as he threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Marshon Ford. For NC State, wide receiver Emeka Emezie caught eight passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.
