I believe you could say we’re all feeling the Bowman Gray Hangover after last night’s action-packed night. As the Sportsman had a 100-lap event along with Twin 25’s for the Modified, a Street Stock race, along with the Stadium Stock’s 50 lapper and a chain-race to end the night.
As Street Stock would kick the night off, following several wrecks Billy Gregg would be able to work his way to the front and go on to win the 20-lapper event, making it his third win of the year. Taylor Robbins finished second, Steven Berrier third and Brian Wall fourth.
Next up would be Modified as Lee Jeffreys would start on the pole and lead the whole race to pick up his first win of the season. Tim Brown second, Burt Myers third and Jason Myers fourth.
Now it’s time for the Midway Mobile Storage 100 for Sportsman. As Michael Adams would dominate most of the race until Kevin Neal would get by him for the lead and go on to pick up his second win of the season. Adams would finish second, Derek Stoltz third, Andrew Durham fourth and Taylor Branch fourth.
After having to change transmissions in qualifying and starting in the back of the field in the first race. Jonathan “Jon Boy” Brown would work his magic and find a way to pick up his third race of the year Saturday night after holding off Jason Myers, Tim Brown and Burt Myers in the second 25-lap Modified race.
Brandon Brendle would win the Stadium Stock race in lap 60 of what was supposed to be 50 laps, to pick up his third win of the year. Grayson Keaton was second, Wesley Thompson was third and Andy Spears was fourth.
Make sure you’re at the Madhouse this Saturday night for the action-packed twin 50-lappers for the Brad’s Golf Cars Modified Series with the double-file restart cone and the “Madhouse Scramble”. Also, the Sportsman Series will battle it out in two 20-lap races, Street Stock Series competes in a 20-lapper, and the Stadium Stock Series with 15-lap races.
Plus, one lucky fan will win a $1,000 Jewelry Shopping Spree from Davie Jewelers.
