62 Point Second Half Powers Duke over Princeton 101-50

The Duke Blue Devils overcame a rusty first half in Cameron Indoor Stadium against the Princeton Tigers to win their 5th straight game 101- 50. The Blue Devils started the game  0 for 8 from the field, with 2 turnovers and didn’t score a basket until nearly 5 minutes into the game  but turned an 8 to nothing deficit into a 13 point half time lead before blasting the Tigers in the second half by 38 points in the second half.

Duke used a 30-12 run after halftime to seal the game on the strength of improved 3 point shooting from beyond the arc and a 26 to 2 edge in points in the paint. R.J. Barrett led the Blue Devils in scoring with 27 points, adding 3 assists and 6 rebounds. Freshman Zion Williamson recorded his 4th double-double with 17 points and 10 rebound, adding 3 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals. Point guard Tre Jones recorded his fourth turnover-free game this season, including three in the last five with 6 assists and zero turnovers.Jones has 29 assists and four turnovers over Duke’s last five games.
